My Oath to you:

I will be a provider who puts the comfort of her patients above all else

I will create a safe space where you can set aside all your other stress and responsibilities for a while and focus on healing

I will be a provider that helps change your view of dental care

Salome Masrani, DDS, MPH

I grew up in Kansas City, where a couple of summers volunteering with a local dentist set me on a path I never looked back from. I was accepted to the reserved admission program at UMKC School of Dentistry while still in high school — but first headed to Washington University in St. Louis for my undergraduate studies before returning home to complete dental school at UMKC.

From there, I completed a General Practice Residency at LSU, staying on for a second year as Chief Resident to deepen my hospital-based training — and to fully embrace the New Orleans food scene while I was at it. With my sights set on endodontics, I was accepted to Temple University in Philadelphia, where I trained in root canals, retreatments, and root-end surgery, and was again named Chief Resident in my second year.

As much as I loved Philly, Austin called — and it's been home ever since. I've been practicing endodontics here since 2017, and this city is truly where I've grown into the provider I am today.

I've never stopped wanting to learn. I earned a Master of Public Health from the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health, and I'm now completing an advanced program in Orofacial Pain and Pathology through USC — because better understanding pain means making better treatment decisions for you. I'm also in the final stage of my board certification process.

Outside the office, you'll find me cooking, reading, painting, practicing yoga and meditation, and spending as much time as possible with my dogs.
